Hot school lunches are ordered on line – you will be provided with a login and password for this system when you join the school.

Pay and order your school dinners via Parentmail.

Dinners are free for Foundation, Class 2 and Class 3 children – you will still need to go online and choose which meal your child would like.

Paid Dinners for Year 3 - 6 (KS2)

Dinners must be paid when the order is placed.

We have now been cooking our own school dinners for five years and they have proved to be very popular. Thanks go to all the kitchen staff for making this possible.

All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a free school meal every day. Children in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 are able to purchase a meal at the cost of £2.60 a day.

If you still require any further information please do not hesitate to contact the school office.

Do I have to order a meal every day?

Research by the Government into the pilot areas of UFSM has shown that there is real evidence children benefit from a school meal everyday both academically and socially. However we appreciate that your child may not want to have a school lunch every day. We will therefore continue to offer a flexible system whereby you can opt to order on certain days.

Can my child still bring a packed lunch every day?

Yes they can, but we would encourage them to try a school lunch. We intend to make lunchtimes an integral part of the school day giving pupils time to enjoy a freshly prepared lunch alongside their classmates and save you money too.

My child has dietary requirements?

Meat and vegetarian options are available, and we can also cater for children who have other dietary requirements. This can include religious, cultural or allergy and intolerance diets. If your child has dietary requirements please contact the school office for a Special Diet Referral Form.

My child already gets free school meals- how does this affect me?

We would like to take this opportunity to remind parents and carers that if you meet the existing criteria for Free School Meals in any year group it is essential to the schools funding that you continue to apply for Free School Meals. The additional funding this attracts for the school and your child through the pupil premium is vital for the future of additional support in school.
