Our nursery is currently full and we are not taking any new children, but we are delighted to announce that we will be extending the amount of spaces available from September 2026!

Watch this space for more details...

From September 2026:

Welcome to Rainbow class

Our nursery takes children from the term after they are 3 when they are entitled to universal funding: 15 hours of free early education term-time only.

We expect that children entitled to this should take up their full entitlement.

Working parents may also be eligible for additional hours. This is called Extended or 30 hours and you can check eligibility of this here: 30 hour childcare check.

You may also choose to purchase additional sessions to cover your working hours’ subject to availability.

When is my child eligible for universal hours?

If their birthday falls between: They are entitled from:
1 April - 31 August September
1 September - 31 December January
1 January - 31 March April

All invoices must be paid online using Arbor – the school’s payment system. If you are experiencing payment difficulties, please contact the school office.

If you have any concerns, please speak to the office and we will do our very best to help.

We understand however, that there are occasions when people would like to raise their concerns formally. In this case, please follow the complaints procedure which can be found here.

PLEASE NOTE: It is anticipated that most children who attend our Nursery will apply for a place to attend our primary school. Parents whose children attend the nursery class, particularly from outside the designated area of the primary school, should be reminded that their child is not guaranteed a place at the school when s/he reaches the normal school starting age (i.e., the September of the academic year in which the child will be five). You must apply through the normal County Council school admissions procedures here.
